INPUT DEVICES OF COMPUTER



INPUT DEVICES

1. KEYBOARD- is typewrite keyboard, which uses an arrangement of buttons or keys, to act as mechanical levers or electronic switches. After punch cards and paper tape, interaction via teletype-style keyboards became the main input device for computers.













2. MOUSE- is a pointing devices that functions by detecting two-dimensional motion relative to its supporting surface.












3. WEB CAM- is a video camera which feeds its images in real time to a computer or computer network.













4. MICROPHONE-   is an acoustic-to-electric transducer or sensor that converts sound into an electrical signal.












 5. USB( UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS)- can connect computers peripherals  such as mice, keyboards, digital cameras, printers, personal media players, flash drives, Network Adapters, and external hard drives.
